Wow what a month August was!

Wow what a month August was!
I found my forever home; I’m absolutely sure of it. I’m been on my bestest behavior. I’ve only gotten into trouble a few times. Once or twice for peeing on the floor and another for… I don’t remember maybe getting into the toilet paper or something like that. As if that’s a big deal…
Actually, you know how I know it’s my forever home? My new Mom and Dad took me on a trip to Wisconsin where I crossed over this huge bridge, swam in Lake Ontario (that water was COLD) and saw the Upper Peninsula. When we got to our vacation destination, I met up with Lexi a golden retriever and Mason a Rhodesian ridgeback. My first night there we all got along fine and then Mason for whatever reason copped an attitude and wouldn’t play with me anymore. Lexi wasn’t too playful because she just got over being really sick. No bother, there were other pups in the area to play with.
On this trip, we took a couple of boat rides. I don’t mind saying I was really really nervous being around water and all. I’m not sure I know how to swim! On one of these boat rides, everyone left the boat except for us pups. We had to stay back and guard the boat or something. I don’t know, but I wasn’t having it. I yelped as long and as loud as I could so that they would know I was unhappy being on the boat with just Lexi and Mason. After a bit, they came out to see what the noise was about and then we left. For a little guy, I’m learning the right buttons to push to get what I want… But don’t tell my Mom. Surely she would change the game plan if she knew…
Anyway, I’m back in the Cleveland area again and spending time at Camp Bow Wow. I’ve met so many friends there. I have a few favorites, but we keep getting new pups all the time. It’s hard to keep track of all their names. I spent a lot of time there this Labor Day because my Mom had to work. Again new pups to play with… Every day it’s someone new! I’ll try to get some pictures together so that you can see what I’m talking about.
